WHAT WE DO

 

Our mission is to empower the Congolese community in Houston. We provide financial aid and social support to individuals from the Republic of Congo residing in the area. We also offer temporary shelter for those in need, and invest in our youth through scholarships for college-bound students. To fund these initiatives, we host an annual charity gala celebrating Congolese culture.

We provide financial help to Congolese from the Republic of Congo living in Houston and its suburbs.

Shelter

We provide shelter to Congolese already living in Houston or those thinking about living in Houston and don’t have a place to stay for a short period (30 days maximum) free of charge. (coming soon).

Investing in our kids

We provide scholarships to Congolese Kids who graduate high school and are thinking about attending a vocational school, a two (2) year school, or four (4) a year school. 

To be approved, the student's parent has to be a community member and the student has to provide proof of enrollment to an accredited school where the funds will be sent directly. (coming soon).
